The following grant was started in 1990 by an a/e ProNet, a team of insurance experts giving the board administrations to engineers and architects. In 1999, the grant was renamed for David W. Lakamp, a founder of a/e ProNet and a trusted advisor to the industry. He left behind a legacy of fantastic skill and honesty that set new guidelines in the field of insurance services. The a/e ProNet David W. Lakamp grant is granted every year to two understudies who exhibit a solid interest in the practice and risk management in the field of architecture or engineering. Every understudy gets a $5,000 grant.
To be qualified for the a/e ProNet David W. Lakamp AIA Scholarship, understudies should maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. He should be a fourth-year understudy in a NAAB authorized degree program, or a Fourth-year understudy of a four-year pre-proficient degree program in architecture acknowledged for direct entry to a two-year NAAB certify M.Arch program or First-year understudy in a NAAB authorized M.Arch degree program for understudies with college degrees in another discipline.

Who is Eligible?
