The contest is exclusively open for California residents who are enrolled as undergraduate students in the accredited university of the United States.

Who May Eligible
- Participants must be an undergraduate student.
- An applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- All the aspirants must be enrolled in a higher education institute in the US.
- Candidates must be a current undergraduate student with a 3.0 GPA or above.
- Students must be enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution located in the 50 United States or D.C. at the time of entry and at the time the scholarship is awarded

- Students must be submitting an essay in 400-600 word limits on the given topic:
- Describe in detail how the 5 Star Scholarship will assist you in reaching your educational/career goals.
Benefits
The prize of $1000 will be awarded to one student with the educational costs.
