The Elks National Foundation is proud to present the 2020 Most Valuable student scholarship for high caliber aspirants who wish to undertake bachelor degree coursework at any American college or university. The program is accessible for US citizens only.
Founded in 1868, The Elks is an American fraternal order originally as a social club in New York City. The foundation provides scholarship to help students in order to gain their higher education.
Who May Eligible
- Candidates must be a current high school senior.
- Applicants must be a citizen of the United States on the date your application is submitted; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.
- Students must have taken either the ACT or SAT on or before October 5, 2019.
- An aspirant must be currently enrolled in four-year undergraduate degree programs at accredited U.S. American colleges or universities

- All the required forms and attachments (if applicable) have been received and your application will be considered for the scholarship.
Benefits
- The 20 top finalists will participate in an all-expenses-paid Leadership Weekend in Chicago. These 20 finalists will be vying for two first-place awards of $50,000; two second-place awards of $40,000; and two third-place awards of $30,000.
- The remaining 14 finalists will receive awards of $20,000. The 480 runners-up will receive fifth-place scholarships of $4,000.
