The Edwards County Farm Bureau is excitingly welcoming students to apply for their worthy Edwards County Farm Bureau Young Leader Committee Collegiate Scholarship. Fellows must be a freshman or sophomore in college during the 2021-2022 academic year or enrolled in a trade school program or enrolled in an agricultural-related major and/or been an active Edwards County 4-H or FFA member during the high school career, and be a full-time student to be eligible.

The Edwards County Farm Bureau is happily ready to be part of students’ educational journey by helping them with their educational expenses needs. The scholarship is designed to encourage the students to achieve a good academic standard by focusing on academic and not financial difficulties. The bureau is aware of the students and their families’ financial struggles and knows that it’s the main reason why most of the deserving students don’t get a chance to complete education.

The Edwards County Farm Bureau started in 1919 to support and preserve the best interests of our agricultural communities, educate the public, and enhance farming profitability for future generations. The bureau is dedicated towards the progress of County with some wonderful initiatives like scholarships, and other programs. The bureau has the team of most enthusiastic people dedicated to student growth.

Who May Be Eligible

Follow the needs that will make you eligible for the scholarship:

  • Fellows must be a freshman or sophomore in college during the 2021-2022 academic year or enrolled in a trade school program or enrolled in an agricultural-related major and/or been an active Edwards County 4-H or FFA member during the entire high school career, and be a full-time student to be eligible.

How to Apply

Student’s who are eligible can apply for the program by completing the application available. Please provide all the necessary data with the application. The bureau will not accept late or incomplete submissions. Fellows are responsible for providing authentic data through the application. Late submissions will directly be rejected by the bureau.

Benefits

The student selected by the bureau will receive a scholarship of $750. This amount should only be used to pay the students’ academic needs like tuition, fees, and other costs. The organization may award more scholarships of differing amounts to reduce the burden of students’ educational expenses. These programs will encourage students to achieve their academic goals.

Applications should be submitted before March 1, 2021. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
