The State Women’s Leadership Committee presents two grants focused on promoting Women’s Leadership in the agriculture section. The following two grants are the Berta Lee White scholarship and the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Ambassador Scholarship, which are to be granted out of appreciation for Berta Lee White to Farm Bureau members students pursuing or planning to pursue a career in the agriculture sector. The following scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis on June 1 and August 1. The following scholarships mainly focus on women. Therefore its primary purpose is to support women and bring out the leader in them.
The Berta Lee White grant was set up out of appreciation for Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation’s previous State Women’s Leadership Committee Chair, Berta “Bert” Lee White. This grant will be granted to a woman who joined up with an agriculture degree at a Mississippi college or junior college. Candidates for this grant should be Farm Bureau members. Now comes the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Ambassador Scholarship, which fills in as a way for the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation to personality youthful pioneers who are successful at recounting agriculture’s story. This grant will be granted to a male or female understudy going to any Mississippi college or junior college that has a base 2.5 GPA. Candidates for this grant should be Farm Bureau members.

Who is Eligible?
The eligibility criteria for the following scholarship is as follows:
Berta Lee White Scholarship- This scholarship will be awarded to a woman enrolled in an agriculture degree at a Mississippi university or community college. Applicants for this scholarship must be Farm Bureau members.
Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Ambassador Scholarship- This scholarship will be awarded to a male or female student attending any Mississippi university or community college that has a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants for this scholarship must be Farm Bureau members.
