Stand out from the crowd with University of Dayton Merit Scholarships! The University of Dayton has begun accepting applications for its outstanding merit scholarships. There are currently four amazing merit scholarships available for deserving students at the University of Dayton. These scholarships promote the higher education of high achieving students and encourage them to pursue an undergraduate level course at the University of Dayton. Students who are enrolling at the University of Dayton as incoming first-year students are eligible to enjoy the perks of these merit programs. Full-time transfer students are also welcome to apply.
These merit-based funds will acknowledge students’ efforts and achievements that they have made during their previous studies. Participants of these programs will be evaluated based on their academic merit. The programs intended to support the undergraduate level education of academically talented students and provide the recognization for their hard work. These scholarships will play a major role in making the University of Dayton’s higher education more accessible and affordable for talented students. These scholarships will enable students to get the right education and help them pave the way for a successful career that ultimately will benefit our society.

Who May Be Eligible?
Meet these requirements before applying:
- Applicants must be incoming first-year students;
- Full-time transfer students are also eligible;
- Scholarships will be offered based on merit.
How to Apply
There is no need to send an additional application for these scholarships. Entrants will be selected for these programs as part of the admission application process.
The university has currently these four merit-based scholarships:
- Father Chaminade Award – $53,000 to $65,000
- Deans’ Merit Scholarship – $71,000 to $81,000
- President’s Merit Scholarship – $83,000 to $91,000
- Trustees’ Merit Scholarship – $99,000 to $109,000
There is no separate application process for scholarships. Applications for admission will work as an application for scholarships. Please send your application for admission before or on November 1, 2020.
