The Covid-19 has changed the dynamics of our world, the way we work, and we think. The last year has been full of challenges for all of us, especially for those who were facing serious credit crises. Most of us lost our jobs and had to put career dreams, aspirations and plans on hold. Institutions across the globe had to make an immediate shift from in-person classes to virtual learning. During that time, we got to know the real benefits of technology in our lives. People who were earning their livelihood or studying in another city or country were stuck and unable to meet their loved ones. Such people had to survive that horrible period alone, staying away from their families. These things were not easy for anyone, but now people are feeling relived due to the Covid-19 vaccine accessibility. Keeping this in mind, Blumenthal Performing Art has introduced a fantastic contest that people can take part in.
Take Your Best Shot Poetry and Spoken Word Contest is a fantastic program requesting all participants to share their enthusiasm for Covid-19 vaccine accessibility and/or their reason to inspire everyone to take advantage of the vaccine. Multiple submissions are allowed for this program. Blumenthal Performing Art is interested in knowing your thoughts on the availability of vaccine and hearing your reasons why people should be encouraged to get the vaccine. As participants, you can express your thoughts by writing and performing an original spoken word piece and send it to Blumenthal Performing Art to get recruited for this program. To enter this contest, you have to fill out an online application form and submit your entry through it.
Blumenthal Performing Art is a non-profit organization which gets support from different organization such as the Arts & Science Council and North Carolina Arts Council, and through earned revenues from ticket sales and associated services for its mission.
