In 1783, Benjamin Rushset up Dickinson College with the purpose of giving an alternate sort of liberal arts education. Here, understudies are urged to be effectively drawn in with the more extensive world and tested to think contrastingly and act strongly. Dickinsonians are directed by a centre arrangement of principles—to be conclusive, valuable, inquisitive, and unafraid to face challenges.
