2019 Peck Law Firm $2,000 Scholarship Contest

Appalachian State University is pleased to announce the 2019 Peck Law Firm $2,000 Scholarship Contest. This competition is open to any U.S. citizen, who will be participating in a college, university, graduate school or law school in the United States during the 2019-20 school year.

The winner will be announced on July 31, 2019, and it will receive a one-time reward of $ 2,000. It will be sent directly to the winner’s school and it can be used for all the expenses related to the school.

Who May Eligible:

To eligible, the candidates must be following all the eligibility criteria:

  • The essay contest is open to any American citizen, who will be attending a college, university, graduate school, or law school in the United States during the 2019-20 school year. 
  • Only students who have a 3.0 GPA or higher may apply for this scholarship.

Rules

  • Each applicant must fill out the form below and submit an essay of not more than 1,000 words in which the applicant answers the question: Should judges start child custody cases with a presumption that fathers and mothers should have equal time with their children after a divorce?

Benefits:

The winner will receive a one-time award of $2,000.
