To apply for this grant, the competitor must be a graduating secondary school senior and be able to get acknowledgment into a qualified degree program (counting yet not restricted to software engineering, electrical designing, math, and so on). Who is Eligible?
The eligibility criteria for the following scholarship is as follows:
- Be a graduating high school senior.
- Be able to verify acceptance into an eligible degree program (including but not limited to computer science, electrical engineering, math, etc.).
- Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Maintain a cumulative undergrad GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale to remain eligible for the scholarship over the course of four years.
- Be planning a career in cybersecurity/information security.
- Complete the scholarship application and include a one-page essay and two letters of reference.
- Identify as Black and African American (African, African American, Caribbean, for example) and be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident.
