The MetLife Foundation, in partnership with UNCF, is proudly inviting candidates to apply for their exceptional MetLife Foundation Scholarship Fund 2020. Applicants must be African American students who are juniors enrolled at accredited four years HBCUs. These are need-based scholarships.

The purpose of this program is to offer financial support to the low and moderate-income family students. The foundation understands that financial instability is the reason for many to discontinue their education and for avoiding this to happen, scholarships are designed. Who May Be Eligible?

Until applying for the programme, review the criteria listed below:

Applicants must be African American students who are juniors enrolled at accredited four years HBCUs.

  • Candidates must demonstrate financial need.
  • Fellows should be majoring in business, finance, or accounting major and possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

How to Apply

The application process is extremely. Fellows must complete the online application by signing in on the official UNCF portal. If you do not have an account, you can create one. Candidates must submit all the needed information and materials with concern to be eligible. No late or incomplete applications will be entertained by the foundation. Fellows must submit all required supporting materials.

Benefits

Students selected will receive the award amount of $7333. This amount should only be used to defray the educational expenses of the candidates. This is a renewable scholarship; the award will be renewed if the fellow maintains the academic standard. The scholarship encourages students to do better in their academics and maintain a good academic record.
