Loretta Ford Centennial Nursing Scholarships

Are you an AANP member currently RNs enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program? If yes, then you cannot miss this incredible chance. The American Association of Nurse Practitioners or AANP is pleasingly welcoming candidates to apply for their wonderful Loretta Ford Centennial Scholarship. Fellows should be licensed as an RN, have at least two years of paid work experience as an RN, and have completed at least one semester of their current DNP program to be considered. Candidates should mandatorily be scheduled to graduate with their DNP in fall 2021 or later.

The AANP or American Association of Nurse Practitioners is pleased to provide this wonderful scholarship to the deserving students in the RN program for helping them with their financial needs. This scholarship was created after Dr Ford, who transformed the nursing programs, nursing profession and made health care more accessible for all. This scholarship has purposely been created to reduce students’ financial burden to do better on their RN studies and not worry about expenses.

The AANP or American Association of Nurse Practitioners is the American Association dedicated to solving the issues and offering considerable support to the nation’s nursing associates. The association initiates a number of wonderful programs that can help the nursing field grow vigorously. Who May Be Eligible

Here are the mandatory requirements you need to stand on to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Applicants should be U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Fellows should be AANP members currently RNs enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program to be eligible.
  • Fellows should be licensed as an RN, have at least two years of paid work experience as an RN, and have completed at least one semester of their current DNP program to be considered. Candidates should mandatorily be scheduled to graduate with their DNP in fall 2021 or later.

Benefits

Five students will be selected to receive $10,000 each in scholarship funding. This amount must only be utilized to pay the candidates’ educational expenses like books, room, fees, and other associated expenses. This scholarship effectively reduces the financial stress of the candidates and help them achieve their career goals.

The due date to submit applications is February 5, 2021. The association will not accept late or incomplete applications.
