Freedom House Junior Fellowship Opportunity

The Freedom House has announced a Fellowship program of nine months for those students who are studying in senior high school or are undergraduate. The opportunity provides students to work with a team of researchers and analysts. In this fellowship, Students will work for human rights, political freedom and democracy, and other fields required for these terms.

The selected applicant will be hired to join Freedom House, and the applicant will also receive a salary annually of $42,000 and other benefits. This will help students in learning many more things under specialists and will get a deep knowledge of human rights and democracy and how it all works. Each Junior Fellow will be hired as a fixed-term, compensated employee at Freedom House, with a generous benefits package. Junior Fellows will be in charge of one of the six geographic regions covered by Freedom in the World’s research. As a result, Junior Fellows will be able to develop expertise in a specific region and will be asked to provide analysis of that region for internal use as well as in response to media and other external inquiries. Junior Fellows will also increase their comparative understanding of global democracy, build a network of external regional experts, develop important project management abilities, and strengthen research and analysis skills through the fellowship program. 

The Freedom House was founded in 1973 and worked for over 49 years in political rights and civil liberties around the world. This is a non-profit majority U.S. government-funded organization that concludes research and advocacy on democracy, political freedom, and human rights.
