CAIL Annual Scholarship

Vacail is currently receiving applications for its CAIL Annual Scholarship Program for the current year 2020. This scholarship program is specially conducted to provide adequate funds to students who are interested in completing their studies. The program will help U.S. students who belong to the minority groups like African American and enrolled in or committed to attend a college, university, or professional school is eligible to apply for the award.

The firm decided to conduct the grants to assist scholars in their educational journey and also lower their financial burden. The recipient of this program will be able to cover up various expenses related to their quality studies without any worries. The program will provide fellows with the confidence to move forward and achieve more in their careers.

Christian Simpson is the principal attorney of the Virginia offices. Mr. Simpson began his career as an insurance defense attorney, representing health care providers in complex medical negligence cases. After representing whistleblowers who sought to protect the government from fraudulent activities of the companies, they worked for.

Who May Be Eligible?

Interested applicants must take a look over the eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must be a minority, specifically African American, students
  • Must have obtained the degree of their choice from any eligible college, university, graduate school, or law school.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in or committed to attend a college, university, or professional school during the current calendar year in which they applied for the scholarship.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of their application.
  • Applicants should not be immediate family members of employees of the Commonwealth Accident Injury Law office.

How to Apply

Students who are interested in applying for the scholarship can submit their required information along with the asked documents through an online scholarship form. The application can be found at the bottom of the official website page. Applicants have to complete the form by providing every detail to get considered for the scholarship program.

Supporting Documents

  • Must write and submit an essay of a maximum of 750-words
  • Essay Topic: Why does education matter to your community?
  • Students must submit an official transcript and one letter of recommendation from an employer or professor/teacher

Benefits

A $1,000 one-time scholarship award will be sent directly to the Financial Aid and Scholarships Offices of the recipient’s college or university and can be used to cover the cost of tuition, fees, housing, and books up to the Cost of Attendance. This grant is not renewable. The fund will help the recipient to pay for any of his/her educational purposes.

Application Deadline

The complete written submission materials must be received by 11:59 PM EST on the final day of the calendar year. Late or incomplete applications are void.
