Equality is what our society needs most today. No matter what community, religion, and country we belong to and what our financial status is, each of us has an equal right to access things and equal opportunity to show our talent and make the most of our lives. MGAM Scholarship Foundation advocates equality, and that is why they have developed a program called Building Opportunities for Sistas to Shine (B.O.S.S.) Scholarship. This funding scheme benefits the CIS, or transgender female students admitted to and will attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university or a technology/vocational school. The purpose of this scheme is to make racial equality a reality for all by assisting Black CIS or transgender female students in pursuing their educational goals.
The foundation will select two CIS or transgender female learners who will receive at least $1,000 in financial aid to help them pursue their education. MGAM Scholarship Foundation is not looking forward to expanding its funding program by increasing the amount to $2,500. In past years, this scholarship has received good responses from people and gained popularity. A plan for increasing the financial support provided to scholarship recipients over the next few years has been approved by the organization to ensure that new candidates have more benefits and don’t compromise with their dreams.
The MGAM Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3 non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Black female students, both cis and transgender, in their educational aspirations.
