This scholarship will be utilized to cover the total cost of attendance. This funding scheme is available to only those planning to attend a 4-year public or private college or university in North Carolina. Applicants must be residents of Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake counties.

Who May Be Eligible

If you meet the following requirements successfully, then the chances are that you can be recruited for this program:

  • Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.5;
  • Applicants must be residents of Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake counties;
  • Applicants must be planning to attend a 4-year public or private college or university in North Carolina.

How to Apply

To complete the registration process, you need to create an account or create your login credentials through the online portal. After the log on to the online system, you will have to enter some basic information through the eligibility quiz. Once, you complete this quiz, the system will present you with all the available scholarships you are eligible for and their application questions. After that, all you need to do is to submit both the universal application and the individual scholarship questions to be considered.

Benefits

The value of the scholarship is $10,000. This scholarship is a contribution toward students’ needs and their total cost of attendance. The award will be granted annually for four years. Applicants are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA and submit semester reports to continue receiving funding.
